August 19th, 2008 - PolCon has Ambassador LeParmentier! - It brings us great pleasure to announce that Mr. Richard LeParmentier - also known as Admiral Motti (who is also the current ambassador of S.W.O.R.A.) - will attend this year's edition of the Polcon convention in Poland!
Mr. LeParmentier has appeared in over fifty films and television shows in Britain and the United States, and currently works as a writer-producer. His role in Star Wars as Admiral Motti, the only Imperial Officer who had the courage to openly oppose Lord Vader, earned him a memorable place in the most popular space opera of all time.

The Polcon convention is the oldest Polish science fiction convention, organized each year in a different city by local science fiction clubs. During the convention, the prestigious Janusz A. Zajdel Award is presented to the authors of the best science fiction and fantasy stories. This year's edition of the convention will be held August 28-31, in Zielona Gora.
